Peruvian Coast Guardsmen transport a simulated injured patient during a search and rescue (SAR) training scenario as part of exercise Resolute Sentinel 2024 west of Ancón, Peru, May 31, 2024. The SAR scenario tested the PCG’s ability to locate a ship in distress, extract an injured individual, and transport them to a local hospital. The U.S. Coast Guard facilitated the training from the command center at Callao Naval Base.
