Peruvian Coast Guard Oficial de Mar Tercero (Sea Officer Third Class) Baddy Albujar, assembles a .50 caliber gun aboard B.A.P. Rio Pativilca, maritime patrol vessel, for a search and rescue (SAR) training scenario as part of exercise Resolute Sentinel 2024 off the shore of Ancón, Peru, May 31, 2024. The SAR scenario tested the PCG’s ability to locate a ship in distress, extract an injured individual, and transport them to a local hospital. The U.S. Coast Guard facilitated the training from the command center at Callao Naval Base.
