142nd Force Support Squadron (FSS) Airmen, U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Abelardo John IIanesa and Senior Airman Payton Green grill steaks for guardsmen on a newly acquired ESPEK (Expandable Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen) at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore., on Aug. 3, 2024. The ESPEK (Expandable Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen) enabled FSS Airmen to train on the new equipment by preparing lunch for wing guardsmen. Babington Technology invented the ESPEK, which allows for faster assembly time, thirty minutes by four people, and can sustain feeding 550 troops in a field environment.
