Job Smith, a CH-47 Chinook engineer stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., dons his gear before a flight Aug. 4, in preparation for slingload training by the 390th Seaport Operations Company. For most of the 390th SPOC soldiers conducting the training, this was the first time they had ever attached a load to a helicopter outside of a school environment.
