Sgt. Daniel Sears, a CH-47 Chinook engineer stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., makes in-flight adjustments while the helicopter hovers Aug. 4, waiting for a group of 390th Seaport Operations Company soldiers to prepare a sling load. For most of the 390th SPOC soldiers conducting the training, this was the first time they had ever attached a load to a helicopter outside of a school environment.
