Job Smith, a CH-47 Chinook engineer stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., waits by the hovering helicopter's open bay, Aug. 4 waiting for a group of 390th Seaport Operations Company soldiers to prepare the next sling load. For most of the 390th SPOC soldiers conducting the training, this was the first time they had ever attached a load to a helicopter outside of a school environment.
