A CH-47 Chinook helicopter cools down on the airfield at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Aug. 4 after a sling load team from the 390th Seaport Operations Company conducted sling load training during the SPOC 13-2 training exercise. For most of the soldiers conducting the training, this was the first time they had ever attached a load to a helicopter outside of a school environment.
