    Ruby Mae Cashe listens to various speakers, including three of her own children, during a memorialization ceremony renaming an Army Reserve center in honor of her son, the late Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe, on July 19 in Sanford, Fla. Cashe died on Nov. 8, 2005, from injuries sustained while rescuing fellow troops from a burning vehicle in Diyala, Iraq, in October of the same year. He is currently being recommended for the Medal of Honor.
