Terri Finger, staff member of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., reads a letter from the senator to the family of Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn Cashe during a memorialization ceremony renaming an Army Reserve center in honor of Cashe on July 19 in Sanford, Fla. Cashe died on Nov. 8, 2005, from injuries sustained while rescuing fellow troops from a burning vehicle in Diyala, Iraq, in October of the same year.
