Petty Officer 2nd Class Angela Ingalls, emergency medical facility X-ray technician, takes a look at the X-ray's she just conducted on "Don," April 24. Don, a military working dog assigned to the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, was X-rayed in an attempt to uncover the cause of his upper respiratory problem. Don and his handler are assigned to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, and used for explosive, narcotic detection as well as security patrols. The service members of CJTF-HOA, headquartered in Djibouti, employ an indirect approach to counter violent extremism.
