GREAT LAKES, Ill., (August 7, 2015) – Command Master Chief Leon R. Walker Jr. (right) hugs retired Cmdr. Robert Sullivan, former executive officer for Naval Station Great Lakes, at Walker’s retirement ceremony after receiving a gift in the Recruit Training Command (RTC) Recruit Memorial Chapel here, Aug. 7. Walker was CMC of Naval Station Great Lakes when Sullivan was the executive officer. Walker’s last command was as the command master chief for Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) and he retires after 32 years of service in the United States Navy.
