SAN DIEGO (Oct. 16, 2015) The crew of the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Albuquerque (SSN 706) stands at parade rest during the boat's inactivation ceremony celebrating more than 32 years of Naval service. The occasion, held at Naval Base Point Loma, marked the submarine's final public event before its scheduled transit later this month to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Wash., to commence its inactivation process and eventual decommissioning.
