NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 8, 2016) -- Cmdr. Julie Treanor, supply officer aboard Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), awards Master Chief Ship's Serviceman Kenneth Carter a Meritorious Service Medal during his retirement at Vista Point Conference Center at Naval Station Norfolk. Carter retired after 30 years of service in the Navy, originally reporting to Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida, in 1986.
