NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 8, 2016) -- Master Chief Ship's Serviceman Kenneth Carter, assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) presents his son, Army Sgt. 1st Class Billy Carter with his retirement flag, which was flown over the Pentagon. Carter retired after 30 years of service in the Navy, originally reporting to Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida, in 1986.
