NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 8, 2016) -- Chief Hospital Corpsman Lee Roy Carter, brother of Master Chief Ship's Serviceman Kenneth Carter, receives a certificate of appreciation from Cmdr. Julie Treanor, supply officer aboard Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), during his brother's retirement at Vista Point Conference Center at Naval Station Norfolk. Master Chief Carter retired after 30 years of service in the Navy, originally reporting to Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida, in 1986.
