NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 8, 2016) -- Master Chief Ship's Serviceman Kenneth Carter, assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) presents his son, Army Sgt. 1st Class Billy Carter, with a keepsake box during his retirement at Vista Point Conference Center at Naval Station Norfolk. Master Chief Carter retired after 30 years of service in the Navy, originally reporting to Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida, in 1986.
