NEW YORK (May 25, 2016) - Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) is followed by Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) as they sail up the Hudson River and under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in the Fleet Week New York 2016 Parade of Ships. More than 4,500 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from 14 vessels including the Royal Canadian Navy are descending upon the city for FWNY, now in its 28th year, to interact with the citizens of New York and the tri-state area, enhancing public awareness of today's maritime services.
