WATERS SURROUNDING THE KOREAN PENINSULA (May 25, 2016) – Cmdr. Garrett Miller, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) watches as the Republic of Korean Navy guided-missile destroyer ROKS Sejong the Great (DDG 991) and guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92) (right) steam in formation during a photo exercise. Decatur, along with Momsen and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, are deployed as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
