Hershel Woodrow “Woody” Williams and his two daughters, Travis and Tracie Ross, bow their heads as the chaplain gives her blessing during a keel laying ceremony at the Nassco Shipyard in San Diego, Aug. 2. Williams was the guest of honor at the ceremony, which dedicated a U.S. Navy ship in his honor. The World War II veteran is the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima.
