161013-N-GY813-008 WATERS SURROUNDING THE KOREAN PENINSULA (Oct. 13, 2016) The forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) makes an approach on the USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE-10) for a refueling at sea during exercise Invincible Spirit2016. Invincible Spirit is a bilateral exercise conducted with the Republic of Korea Navy in the waters near the Korean Peninsula consisting of routine CSG operations in support of maritime counter-special operating forces and integrated maritime operations.
