Petty Officer 3rd Class Alexander Hillbrown observes as the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56) breaks away from the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO-203) after completing a replenishment-at-sea. Hillbrown serves aboard San Jacinto as a boatswain’s mate, training and directing personnel in ship’s maintenance and preservation. San Jacinto, deployed as part of Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
