U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Nov. 30, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Mellisa Stockdill, from Orofino, Idaho constructs a circuit board aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56). Stockdill serves aboard as a fire controlman and is responsible for the quality assurance of the ships self defense systems. San Jacinto, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
