ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 3, 2016) A Sailor on the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) directs a landing craft air cushioned vehicle aboard the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) during a ship to shore for the Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise, or ARGMEUEX is a three-week training evolution intended to build upon previous relationships, thereby enhancing Navy and Marine Corps’ interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities to tackle a wide range of operations during their upcoming deployment.
