COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (March 28, 2017) U.S. Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) sand walls in preparation for painting them during a community relations project held at the Ratmalana School for the Deaf and Blind, as part of a theater security cooperation engagement in Colombo, March 28. During the engagement, Marines and Sailors embarked aboard the USS Comstock (LSD 45) will participate in bilateral training and cultural activities alongside the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, helping to build and maintain military-to-military relations, enhance military readiness, and increase humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparations.
