COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (March 28, 2017) U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), pose for a photograph alongside volunteers with U.S. Embassy Colombo, following a community relations project held at the Ratmalana School for the Deaf and Blind, as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 28. Over the course of the engagement, Marines with the 11th MEU, alongside Marines and Sailors with the Sri Lankan Navy will take part in basic military tactics exercises, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training, and community relations projects.
