COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (March 28, 2017) U.S. Marines and Sri Lankan Marines pose for a photo during weapons skills familiarization held at the port of Colombo as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 28. The engagement will focus on increasing military ties between the U.S. and Sri Lanka, to include: helping shape the development of the newly established Sri Lankan Marine Corps, and increase the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief capabilities of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.
