MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/5, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit post security after clearing a room during an amphibious assault part of PHIBRON-MEU integration training at Camp Pendleton, April 13, 2017. This first at-sea exercise provides the Marines the opportunity to practice integrating with their Navy counterparts to form an efficient team capable of accomplishing a range of missions around the globe. This Navy-Marine Corps team supports combatant commanders in maintaining regional maritime security and stability while providing offshore options to deter influence and win in an era of uncertainty.
