U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Randall Jackson, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) augmentee, digs up metal hits at an excavation site in Quang Binh province, Vietnam, Aug. 11, 2017. Jackson, an explosive ordnance disposal technician stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, deployed with a specialized recovery team to search for the remains of two Marine aviators that were lost in a night-time, armed reconnaissance mission during the Vietnam War.
