U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Stephen Dobbins, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) augmentee, carves into a wall of soil at an excavation site in Quang Binh province, Vietnam, Aug. 15, 2017. Dobbins was deployed by DPAA as the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician on a recovery team in search of the remains of two Marine aviators that were lost in a night-time, armed reconnaissance mission during the Vietnam War. Dobbins is an EOD team leader assigned to the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron and is stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
