U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Stephen Dobbins, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) augmentee, left, and U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Dennis Shaffer, DPAA team sergeant, dig at an excavation site in Quang Binh province, Vietnam, Aug. 15, 2017. Both are deployed as part of a recovery team in search of the remains of two Marine aviators that were lost in a night-time, armed reconnaissance mission during the Vietnam War. Dobbins is an EOD team leader assigned to the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron and is stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
