Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195) connects a cargo pendant to a UH-1Y Venom, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (reinforced), during a vertical replenishment with the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) Sept. 28, 2017. San Diego is deployed with the America Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to support maritime security operations and security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
