Aviation Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Jesse Seagrave watches as an AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter from the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Air-Ground Task Force, II Marine Expeditionary Forces, as it lifts off from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ponce. The Ponce air department has overseen more than 39,000 safe landings and launches from the warship over the past 40. Ponce will be decommissioned in 2012.
