Seaman Adam Reser pulls back on a stopper on the foc'sle of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ponce as Seaman Apprentice Travis Weiner winds the mooring line around Ponce's bits as the ship ties up at Pier 2 at Naval Station Norfolk. Ponce is returning to its homeport for the final time after completing its last week at sea. After 40 years of service Ponce's crew is beginning the process that will result in the ship's decommissioning in 2012.
