ŚWIĘTOSZÓW, Poland (Feb. 5, 2019) - Vincent “B.J.” Lawrence, Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., attends a leadership briefing with Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Kohunsky and Lt. Col. Brian Gilbert, the command team of the 1st Squadron, 4th U.S. Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Riley, Kan., during Lawrence’s site visit to the 1-4 Cavalry currently mobilized to Świętoszów. As commander of the VFW, Lawrence personally visited the soldiers of the 1-4 Cavalry while mobilized in an effort to better understand the training environment and living conditions of the troops stationed overseas in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
