ŚWIĘTOSZÓW, Poland (Feb. 5, 2019) - Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Kohunsky of the 1st Squadron, 4th U.S. Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Riley, Kan., explains to Vincent “B.J.” Lawrence, the Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., the many capabilities of the armored equipment operated by the units of the 1-4 Cavalry in the motor pool of the Polish army post at Świętoszów . As commander of the VFW, Lawrence personally visited the soldiers of the 1-4 Cavalry while mobilized in an effort to better understand the training environment and living conditions of the troops stationed overseas in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
