VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Feb. 8, 2019) Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice Eric Skilang, from Killeen, Texas, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) supply department, pours waffle batter into a waffle iron for a dish in the notional restaurant his team created during training at Stratford University. Ford Sailors participated in Chef Jacoby Ponder's first Chefpreneur Academy at Stratford University, where they learned skills in cooking, marketing and creating a business.
