A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules with Marine Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 lands next to an M-31 arresting gear at Clark Air Base, Philippines, March 22, 2019, in preparation for Exercise Balikatan. U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 assembled and anchored arresting gear to ensure various tail-hook aircraft may safely land on the runway. Exercise Balikatan is a multilateral exercise that provides realistic quick-response training between the U.S., Australia and Philippines.
