Sgt. 1st Class Kyle Sessoms rigs an A-series container for an airborne operation during the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division's Jumpmaster of the Year Competition, March 28. The winners of the battalion-level competitions contended for the brigade title. Each participant was tested on their performance of jumpmaster duties, including rigging of equipment, practical work inside the aircraft, giving a sustained airborne training brief and personnel inspections. Sessoms won the competition and will advance to the Division-level competition in April. He is the assistant operations non-commissioned officer for 1st Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 2BCT, and a native of Belleville, Mich.
