Staff Sgt. Anthony Gann rigs an AT-4 jump pack for an airborne operation during the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division's Jumpmaster of the Year Competition, March 28. The winners of the battalion-level competitions contended for the brigade title. Each participant was tested on their performance of jumpmaster duties, including rigging of equipment, practical work inside the aircraft, giving a sustained airborne training brief and personnel inspections. Gann is a fire support non-commissioned officer assigned to Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team. He is a native of Vernon, Ala.
