Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion prepare to shove part of a medium girder bridge they are building to install the support braces in the center during their battalion field exercise at Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 10. The only piece of machinery used in the bridge building process is a front-end loader with forks to push the bridge into place. The Marines put every other piece together. They can finish a bridge in as little as three hours.
