An assault amphibious recovery vehicle from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (special operations capable) (13th MEU(SOC)) crashes into the surf to "swim" to the USS Rushmore, anchored off the coast of Kuwait, Sept. 26. The 13th MEU(SOC) is returning home to Camp Pendleton, Calif., after deploying to Al Anbar province, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
