An amphibious assault vehicle from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) splashes into the surf to "swim" out to the USS Rushmore, anchored off the coast of Kuwait, Sept. 26. The 13th MEU(SOC) is retuning home to Camp Pendleton, Calif., after its deployment to Al Anbar province, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
