Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan undergoes validation for relocating their operations center, April 14, 2021. U.S. Army 1st Lt. Mason Rutledge (left) and Staff Sgt. Jason Remer (right) assisted with securing the area and placed over one-mile of concertina wire. This was the first time 36th Infantry Division Soldiers executed a tactical jump on a deployment. Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness that division’s main operations center provides to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
