Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan Soldier Sgt. Edwin Alarcon from Houston, Texas, gathers power cords quickly during a relocation of a tactical operations center exercise, known as “jumping the TAC”, April 14, 2021. Soldiers placed more than a mile of concertina wire around the site for physical security. A small group of Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
