Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan, Soldier, Spc. Francisco Resendez, from Brownsville, Texas, helps raise his section of a Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter, known as a DRASH tent, during an exercise to relocate a tactical operations center, known as “jumping the TOC”, April 14, 2021. This was the first time 36th Infantry Division Soldiers executed a TOC jump on a deployment. The Soldiers worked together to secure the area and placed more than a mile of concertina wire. Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
