U.S. Army Soldiers from Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan, 1st Lt. Nick Hergenrother from Mansfield, Texas, and Spc. Francisco Resendez, from Brownsville, Texas, help move a Power distribution illumination system into place during a relocation of a tactical operations center exercise, known as “jumping the TAC”, April 14, 2021. Soldiers worked together to secure the area and placed more than a mile of concertina wire. Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
