Task Force Spartan's Division’s Tactical- Jordan Soldier, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jason Remer waits in the desert sand to raise his section of a Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter, known as a DRASH tent, during a successful demonstration of relocating an operations center, April 14, 2021. This was the first time 36th Infantry Division Soldiers executed this type of maneuver while deployed. The Soldiers worked together to secure the area and placed more than a mile of concertina wire. Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational with the same capabilities as the division’s main. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
