Saeed raises his hand in class at a non-formal education center in the Dar Sa’ad District of Aden, Yemen, in November 2021. Through a USAID-funded program that helps out-of-school children continue their education, Saeed was identified as having a visual impairment and subsequently received vision testing and corrective eyeglasses. He is one of nearly 1,000 children in Yemen with mobility, visual, and hearing impairments who have received diagnostic testing and assistive devices, such as glasses and hearing aids, thanks to USAID funding.
