USAID is proud of its collaboration with the Izrae Lutan Ajmal Team on rehabilitating and equipping the Nasiriyah Museum. Housing an extensive collection of Sumerian, Assyrian, and Babylonian artifacts, this museum is one of the most important cultural landmarks in the Dhi Qar governorate and the second-largest museum in Iraq. The museum’s condition had affected the number of activities it could host. . With beautifully renovated halls, the museum is now prepared to host more activities to celebrate and preserve Iraq’s cultural heritage.
