The Honorable Emiliano Jose Salcines, Jr., a retired judge and oral historian, recounts the life of U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez at Centro Asturiano Cemetery in Tampa, Florida, Sept. 15, 2023. On Sept. 15, 1950, Lopez jumped on a grenade during the Battle of Inchon to save the lives of his comrades.
